
Teri Hatcher was born Teri Lynn Hatcher on the 8th of December 1964, in Palo Alto California. Her mother Esther was a Lockheed Martin computer programmer, and her father Owen was an electrical engineer and nuclear physicist, and she was born by Esther. Teri was a ballet student at the San Juan School of Dance and was raised in Sunnyvale, California. Fremont High School was her homeschool. She was captain of the Featherettes dancing team and was named "Most likely" to become an Solid Gold Dancer. Hatcher graduated from De Anza College, where she was a mathematician and engineer. She also attended acting classes at San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater. Teri admitted that her uncle Richard Hayes Stone abused her sexually at the age of 5. She assisted Santa Clara County prosecutor with their case against Stone. Stone was responsible for the suicide of a 14-year old victim. Stone was convicted in prison for four counts pleading in guilty pleas to molestation. While in prison, he died from colon cancer.
