Lee believed that the orca was free to roam and said that SeaWorld did not agree, as Tilikum is their primary donor of sperm. Lee declared that the SeaWorld's bizarre and complicated method of procuring Tilikum Sperm. Lee stated that he was hoping to avoid further tragedies of trainers getting killed, because these tragic events were a result of the whales' distaste for being held in captivity.
