Country-pop and actor writer Jana Kramer rose to fame on television where she joined the team of One Tree Hill as Alex during its last three seasons. The first three albums she released as a singer-songwriter included in episodes of the show that helped her 2012 eponymous debut album into the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. Thirty One by 2015 was the follow-up and reached Number Ten. She finished out the decade by appearing in Dancing with the Stars and in several TV movies alongside a series of non-album singles. The self-doubting Voices was released in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer was born and brought up within Rochester Hills Michigan. She was a child who listened to country music, later on, she decided to make a go of it as a recording artist. She first made an acting debut when she was a teenager in 2002's indie horror movie Dead/Undead. Kramer was a guest on episodes for All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights during the second season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer was cast in the role of Portia Ranson in 90210 from 2008 to 2009 and Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 before being cast on the show on the CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in 2009. She stayed until partway through the finale season in 2012. In the meantime, she focused on her profession in the field of music, Kramer continued acting and appeared in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 (which appealed to her fans) as well as Country Crush 2016 (which would draw her fans of music). The second album of Kramer's Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th of 2015. It was boosted by Kramer's Top Five country song I Got the Boy and also as a duet performed with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200 country charts and number 10 in the Billboard 200. In September 2016, her stint on the 23rd Season of Dancing with the Stars lasted 2 months, and she finished with a 4th place finishing. Also, it was the year when she scored a contemporary-adult success with her song Feels like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
