Along with her father, Andrew Martinez is vice-president for Safety, Security, and Business Resiliency at Southern California Edison (SCE), one of the largest electric utilities in the United States. Andrew Martinez serves as vice president, Safety Security and Business Resiliency at Southern California Edison. SCE is one the nation's biggest electric utilities. SCE is accountable for the business's programs, activities and policies that focus on the safety of employees and their security. Martinez assists the safety leadership in reaching group safety objectives by providing guidance to them as well as high-quality safety programs. Martinez was the director for Safety Training and Compliance in Transmission & Distribution for SCE prior to his current job. The previous director was of Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services. During the 30 years working at SCE Martinez was in a variety of management positions in programs that focused on improving efficiency and corrective actions. This included roles at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station SONGS which focused on protecting the safety of employees and public.
