Patricia Apollonia Kotero was an American model and singer. She is also a co-star in Prince's 1984 film, Purple Rain. She is known for co-starring in Prince's 1984 film Purple Rain and for having been the main singer for the group of girls Apollonia 6. She was later seen in several minor films during this time (reportedly not wanting to be as a character in The Purple Rain follow-up Under the Cherry Moon) and then landed an appearance on the evening-time television drama Falcon Crest during 1985-1986. Apollonia made her official debut in 1988. However, the album of R&B/dance it was a bit stale and didn't impress those who bought music at the time, quickly vanished. Through the years the singer-songwriter remained an active actress with minor film roles as well as small television shows. Apollonia published a Spanish/English CD entitled Stay with me in 1997.
